Why Volunteer with Amicale du Livre?

Engaging as a volunteer with an Association Loi 1901 is a profound act of local citizenship, solidarity, and cultural enrichment.

In an era dominated by rapid commercial transactions and digital screens, volunteering at our community library offers a tangible, human-scale connection to your neighbors. Whether you have two hours to spare on a Saturday morning or can dedicate a regular afternoon each week, your presence helps maintain a vibrant sanctuary for reading, learning, and conversation in Clion.

Our volunteers come from diverse walks of life: retired schoolteachers eager to continue sharing their love of literature, young people seeking practical experience in library sciences and public administration, working professionals wanting to give back to their village, and passionate readers who find joy in recommending beloved books to others. No specialized degree in library science is required; what matters most is your enthusiasm, warm spirit, and commitment to the public good.
